Which products are suitable for your skin type ?

Knowing the characteristics of your skin allows you to provide the appropriate care. On the face, there are three main skin types.

  • If your face is constantly shiny, you probably have oily skin.
  • If your skin is thin, sensitive, and tight after washing, you probably have dry skin.
  • If your skin is even, soft, smooth and has few imperfections, you have a normal skin type.

We can also talk about combination skin, but since it is a mix between dry and oily skin, we will not add it as a main type.

Skin test

To find out your skin type, you can have a skin diagnosis performed by a dermatologist or a qualified esthetician and take advantage of their advice on facial care and cosmetic products.

You can also determine your skin type yourself. To do this, you need to perform a simple test. It's called the tissue paper test, and it's performed as follows:

  1. Remove your makeup completely.
  2. Clean and wipe your face.
  3. Wait at least half an hour for the sebaceous glands to resume their activity.
  4. Apply two large strips of tissue paper vertically to the face:
    • One on part of the midline of the face (nose, forehead, chin).
    • The other on one side, against the cheek and temple.
  5. Press lightly, without rubbing, for one minute.
  6. Remove the paper strips and observe them under the light.

The condition of the paper will tell you about the nature of your skin:

  • If both papers have significant marks, your skin is probably oily.
  • If the paper affixed to the middle line shows greasy marks, but not the other, your skin is mixed.
  • If both papers show a few greasy marks, your skin is normal.
  • If neither of them shows oily traces, your skin is certainly dry.

Skin Types
This test just gives you a better idea of your skin type in the absence of lesions or disease. Only a dermatologist can perform a true diagnosis.

Now that you have an idea of your skin type, we can suggest the most appropriate skin care program for your skin.

Oily skin

Oily skin is due to an excess of sebum, called seborrhea. It is therefore essential to treat it in a very special way, in order to restore the seborrheic balance.

Oily skin

In the morning.

Use the blueberry cleansing foam, which contains the water of this wonderful berry rich in vitamins, organic acids, and natural antioxidants - substances that are supposed to protect the capillary microcirculation and act against couperose. It also contains hyaluronic acid, which moisturizes and brightens the skin, active rice sheath extract, rich in minerals and natural antioxidants, and calendula, which is soothing and anti-inflammatory. After applying this soft, lightweight foam, skin is left perfectly clean and hydrated.

Continue by spraying your face with the soothing active water with lemon balm, ideal for dull and blemished skin. This water has soothing and cleansing properties. Thanks to to its active ingredients, it gives your skin a radiant glow and restores its balance.

The last step is moisturizing. At this point, we recommend using a facial moisturizer with lemon balm, which is generally known for its soothing and purifying properties. Or face creams with argan oil or aloe vera, which are light and easily absorbed, with moisturizing and regenerating properties, ideal for combination and oily skin. Thanks to their fresh and light texture, these creams penetrate quickly and are ideal as a make-up base.

First, use a natural makeup remover, such as rose water. It's a highly effective cleanser that removes even the most stubborn makeup without compromising the skin's natural protection, leaving it soft and silky.

Next, spray your skin with the soothing active lemon balm water.

Finish the treatment with the natural serum of pure cold-pressed prickly pear seed oil. This oil removes blemishes, soothes the skin, and creates a flawless complexion without blackheads or irritation.

If your skin is prone to excessive shine, alternate the problem skin serum with another mattifying serum containing cleansing and oil-regulating agents to help tighten pores and remove impurities, and bioactive rice powder to absorb excess oil.

Dry skin

Dry skin lacks lipids, or sebum, which facilitate the evaporation of water. Dry skin must therefore be nourished before being moisturized, and should not be confused with dehydrated skin.

Dry Skin

In the morning.

Wash your face with the blueberry cleansing foam, which contains the active constituent of this berry, rich in vitamins, organic acids, and natural antioxidants-protectors of the capillary microcirculation. It also contains hyaluronic acid, which moisturizes and illuminates the skin; an active extract of rice sheath, rich in minerals and natural antioxidants; and calendula, which soothes against redness. After applying this soft, light foam, the skin is left perfectly clean and hydrated.

Next, use regenerating active cornflower water, an antioxidant and soothing treatment that promotes capillary microcirculation.

Then apply a nourishing face cream containing regenerating and nourishing plant oils, vitamin E, hyaluronic acid and shea butter (carite). Argan oil-based face creams are your best choice for dry skin. They are rich and nourishing, designed for the driest and most demanding skin. They contain valuable natural antioxidants, toning and elastic ingredients, making them suitable for highly stressed skin as well as skin prone to couperose and diffuse redness.

Mature skin

Mature skin, or senescent skin, is wrinkled and often slack. The skin loses its tone and firmness. Therefore, its ultimate treatment must respect certain rules.

Next, tone, brighten, and refresh your skin, fighting free radicals and signs of aging with pomegranate water, an active antioxidant.

The last step is the application of a rejuvenating face cream. We recommend a pomegranate cream, rich in natural active ingredients, to counter the effects of time and free radicals, and to give radiance and deep nourishment to the face and décolletage. One last bonus before you leave.

If your skin has blemishes, alternate the rejuvenating serum with the smoothing serum. The two will work in tandem to help smooth and brighten your skin while cleansing and counteracting blemish formation, reducing pigmentation and smoothing your complexion.

Skin regeneration

Once a week, it is recommended to exfoliate your skin to remove dead cells and stimulate the natural regeneration process of the stratum corneum. Also, add an exfoliating face mask. Be sure to choose an organic mask rich in natural vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants for your organic weekly treatment to smooth and purify your skin, restore optimal balance, and give your skin a radiant, youthful appearance.
